Overview
Trotec BB20 Coating Thickness Gauge features an innovative dual sensor enabling measurement of non-magnetic coatings such as paint, varnish, synthetic coatings, zinc coatings, enamel and chrome on steel, iron and non-ferrous metals including aluminum, magnesium and titanium.

The spring-mounted measuring head with practical V-groove allows measurements on rounded objects like axles or hinges while minimizing vibration influence. The compact device can be operated with one hand and offers a measuring range from 0 to 1250 µm with precise results, statistical functions and an alarm function when predefined thickness thresholds are exceeded.

It is ideal for automotive inspection to detect repainting or accident repairs and can also be used on railings, boats, ships and other protective coatings.
