LCH-ALT400 Smoke Leak Detector is designed for detecting the leakage of pipe systems, air intake system and cooling tank, which conforms to SAE standards. It’s a professional tool which can help you find leakage in any pipe system quickly. 


Description 

  1. Designed for detecting the leak of pipe systems in cars, motorcycles, such as fuel pipe, air intake system and cooling tank
  2. It can change special oil (baby oil or mineral oil) into smoke, and blow smoke into sealed pipe system. You can find the leak point in the pipe via the smoke and accordingly fix it where leak exists
  3. It can produce smoke fast with large volume, which can effectively help technicians improve working efficiency

How To Use
  1. Open the engine cover, and hang the main unit under the cover
  2. Disconnect the pipe which needs to be connected with the detector. If both sides of the pipe need to be disconnected, please make sure the other side is blocked with a rubber stopple
  3. Secure the side with proper taper stopple/pipe, and connect it with smoke output tube
  4. Connect the main unit with DC12V battery: Red with positive, Black with negative
  5. Turn on the power switch, for the main unit to start working
  6. In 2 minutes, the pipe will be filled with smoke. Check and find the leak points. Please use light or head lamp if necessary
  7. After identifying the exact location of the leak, connect the pipes or the wires well in their position
