Many modern vehicles have dashboards, audio systems, gear lever modules, handbrake modules and other electronic components that are activated through CAN communication with relevant modules in the vehicle. OBDSTAR MT101 simulates CAN communication to activate the secondary power supply and bring the main unit into drive mode. This allows technicians to test and verify the dashboard and related modules without installing them in the vehicle.

This solution eliminates the need to purchase multiple boot platforms and wiring harnesses for each vehicle model, significantly reducing equipment costs for automotive maintenance engineers.
